Stay is valued at up to $3,446 CAD / £2,040 GBP / $2,500 USD* (including taxes). There are no further accommodation taxes or fees to be paid by the winner**. Please note the winner will be required to separately pay for all additional purchases, including further meals, drinks, groceries, all transport, laundry, excursions, gratuities etc.
Auction stay dates: to be booked in advance and stay taken between 01 April – 31 May 2024 or 01 – 30 September 2024, excluding stays over 10 – 12 May, subject to availability.

The farm lies in Musquodoboit Valley, in eastern Nova Scotia, just over an hour’s drive from Halifax. This region is famed for its stunning natural beauty, pristine rivers, and charming small towns, and offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and camping.
The Teerling family, who run Linday Lake Farms, believe in the power of good food to bring people together, to create memories, and nourish the soul. As part of your prize stay, they will include a complimentary dinner for 2/4/6 guests and a farm tour.
The winner and their guests will be staying at Moose River Cottage, which lies nestled on the outskirts of the farm; this serene escape will allow you to reconnect with nature and escape the rush of modern-day living. Originally an old farmhouse next to wild blueberry fields, the cottage has undergone extensive renovations and has turned into a charming 3-bedroom haven amongst nature.
Inside there are 3 bedrooms upstairs with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. The cottage also features a dining room, living room, bathroom with shower, powder room, mud room, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials such as dishwasher, full-size fridge, stove, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker. The cottage also offers high-speed Wi-Fi and, best of all, a beautiful deck to sit out on and enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sun slowly set. All bedding, essentials (soap, toilet paper, etc.), hair dryer, and linens are provided.
Please note the winner will be required to pay a security deposit of $400 CAD (£237 GBP / $291 USD) and that smoking and parties in the property are strictly forbidden.
